Music Credits and Soundtrack from Manhattan Murder Mystery
Manhattan Murder Mystery begins on a melodic note with Bobby Short singing Cole Porter's I Happen to Like New York,
as a moving camera shows helicopter views of the city. It's a contrast to the slow, majestic Gershwin opening to Manhattan.
Following this comes a nice, eclectic collection of songs which we have curated for you to listen to on this page. (See right)
This movie soundtrack is Allen's first of two instances where he depicts going to Hell by using Benny Goodman's Sing Sing Sing
(with a Swing). (It later appears on a descent into Hades in Deconstructing Harry.)
